FLASH BACK TO 2014-2015 WITH AIRTEL ONE MIC(AOM)
I was the stage DJ/Audio Sound engineer for Airtel one mic campus tour, DJ-Substance Oluwafemi while Onawale O'boy Kuforiji was the Mc/Music producer under DeeJay Jamalot afrojam lebel that covers the competition which we produced the likes of zlantan (mapoly), Ajanoku (lasu), jaydream (Eksu), dotman (unilag), Acetune (IMT) I guess. others artist from the East and North, East regional final was held in pothacort and the North regional final was in Abuja and I can't remember the name of the names of winners.
Tuface, Reminisce, Vector, Pato-ranking, DJ Jam-alot, ID-cabasa, Phyno, Black magic, Ill Bliss and Masterkraft who were the judges and guests artist! in 2014-2015 it was a big show event then but I wish the Airtel team can see beyond and bring it back to live because it never ended there for us, right now my team is big and our sound equipment is large enough to handle/withstand any Event.
Airtel One Mic was a brilliant initiative created to discover, support and empower youths across Nigerian tertiary institution but I guess to my best knowledge, AOM should have been a trade Mark event in our home screen by now for young generation because our music industry is now a big deal market for global investors but Airtel never see things in this direction up till now.
