Tuesday - I'm back on pitch today after a long weekend off. We completed the South Coast Ultra (100km/62 miles) Saturday and Sunday and spent the day in Eastbourne yesterday to attempt to recover the legs a bit.
Usual 8am start today, should remain dry for the majority of the morning. I've got an appointment straight after work so it will be a quick shut down at 12 and fast departure.

I'd normally be arriving on pitch now (7am) to setup and it's currently pouring down and mid thunderstorm. The forecast in the past hour has kept changing, at the moment it's suggesting rain all the way through until after lunch.

Thursday - Well what a week this is turning out to be, suns out today again but with a bit of a breeze so it'll feel a little cooler. Usual ready from 8am. Sell out day yesterday, milk was done by 12:05.
An opening picture for the bike fans today, I've had a picture of at the van before. This one is owned by the same owner as the last, the bike is from the 1930's and is used by Russ a fair bit. Love the fact it's still out being used and not hung up on a wall somewhere unused.

Just a reminder please can people order at the order table and remain there until paid, if waiting to order queue along the cones. This allows me to see who is waiting and work quicker, see the customer ordering while working vs stopping to turn around and also most importantly keeps the track clear. It's busy at the moment and those who are not regulars don't know where to queue if the van is just surrounded and I can't hear a thing due to the noise created by people and dogs barking. There are vehicles in and out regularly and waiting along the cones keeps you off the track and out of their way. Thank you.

A shot timer on a dual fuel fracino machine.......pure luxury to those who dont use espresso machines i can assure you. Why a timer? Well it is all to do with having a recipe and a target to making every coffee taste the same every time. Previously I used a timer on my scales, yep scales as well this is all getting very technical I hear you say. The timer on the scales worked but its a very disjointed way of doing it, often tapping the button twice and turning the scales off and loosing both time and weight measurement. I've just got to add another timer next week to the other grouphead on the machine. Tuesday is here and with the weather forecast from tomorrow it may as well be Friday........it's not looking good for trading the rest of this week with rain and/or high winds. Obviously I will be ready to get out there if the forecast changes and will post up at 8am if I trading. Well I dont really know what the weather is going to do today. The wind was supposed to drop below 40mph by 9am so I am up the beach today in St Mary's Bay.
