As for the people who asked what I was doing on the ring apron afterward staring at Mike and Hank, and -especially- to the people who have interpreted that as implying some form of collusion between those goofs and the Buzzard- you’re missing some context. I’m a former tag team champion. I’ve faced off against both of those men more times than I can count, in tag team matches, in singles matches, in cage matches, you name it.

It is my instinct when those two sons of bi***es are standing in a wrestling ring to get into it and beat them up. I resisted it this time. They’ll get a receipt for screwing my boy in due time, and the beating I put on my them will be sanctioned so instead of getting arrested for it I’ll get paid.

I retired from in-ring competition because I didn’t want to fight men like the Dirty Birds anymore. I’m not scared of Drop Dead Sexy. They already got buzzards circling over their old decrepit heads, now they have one more.

So I just heard there was some kind of misunderstanding some people had with the way the Dirty Birds’ match went down last night and what transpired afterward. Let’s clear it all up, shall we?

Goose couldn’t make it. It’s not my business why, it ain’t your business why, but nobody’s mad at anyone, nobody’s been fired from anywhere, nobody’s retired. The Dirty Birds are the Dirty Birds, this ain’t a gimmick, this ain’t pretend, and there was never a doubt in any of our minds that Rooster was going to be able to put away Drop Dead Sexy away all by his lonesome anyway. Because he’s a goddamn dirty bird, and neither of the AACW tag team “champions” is a match for Rooster on their best day. All Rooster has is best days, that’s why the mo********er crows every day.

As to how that match ended- after spending their evening venting their frustration very disrespectfully towards the phenomenal referee Alice Lane, they finally decided the only way they were going to pin Rooster was if they got her out of the way. So they just… blindside attacked a woman and knocked her down, so they could win a two on one fight against a man smaller than either of them. I was unable to get Alice back on her feet and with it in time to count the three as he WON THAT MATCH. Fortunately Alice Lane is doing fine now, for everyone who reached out. Just got knocked down and the wind knocked out of her, and she was back in action in time to count the three after Hank and Mike cheated to win their wrestling match.

Like they always do. Like everyone knows they always do. Like people have been watching those men do for 20 years. Like they did to myself and my own tag team partner. The same way that men like those two carny cowards have been behaving since the dawn of time, especially in the wrasslin business.

There’s people who know when it’s time to step aside and let the stars of today through, and there’s ALWAYS old fat men who are too dumb to know it’s for their own damn good to get out of their way.

Just wait until Goose is around next, boys. Just wait until the Dirty Birds bring in their own backup. Just wait, and watch the skies, and sleep real bad.
