Encore Opera last night at St Mary's. An absolutely superb evening of music by a group of incredibly talented performers. Thanks to everyone who came out in the cold to support us and share in a really special experience. Our next show is on Sunday 1 December when we're welcoming Mrs Claus to St Mary's for a cosy afternoon of family fun around the Christmas tree. The last event before Christmas is a relaxed evening of live music, wine and song 'Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree' on Friday 13 December. James Rowland Dies at the End of the Show is a joyful expression of the best things about being alive. What better time to think about them then before they’re gone forever.
In this show James uses his trademarked (not officially trademarked) conversational, funny and musical style to the subject of the wonders of life.

A story about Life, Humanity and of course James Rowland will die at the end of the show.
James says – “I have tried to always make shows that are accessible for all audiences, that are heartfelt and human. I’ve been lucky enough to tour with Highlights several times before and it’s an honour and always a (excuse the pun) highlight of my year. I can also perform a double bill with one of the other two shows in the trilogy if a venue hasn’t had one of them before – this may help by adding an interval!”

James’s unique charm has impressed so many Highlights’ audiences over the years – this is the last show in the trilogy which includes Learning to Fly and Piece of Work, which both sold out at Edinburgh Fringe and received wonderful reviews at Highlights venues in 2022 and 2023..
