NPK Associates is hiring a Part-time/Full-time service technician to take care of plants for various client accounts throughout Chicagoland and suburban areas.

*Applicant must have an insured vehicle to drive between clients in Chicago and the suburbs*

Main Job Functions & Responsibilities
• Watering, pruning, and cleaning plants
• Carrying buckets of water, up to 20 pounds
• Spending most of the day walking, on your feet
• Organically treating for pests
• Occasionally using a ladder to service plants
• Building positive relationships with our clients
• Driving between client accounts
• Contributes to team effort by supporting the
department as needed
• Submitting replacement requests for plants
• Maintaining a professional attitude
• Working independently

Skills & Qualifications
• Horticultural education or professional experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and customer communication
skills
• Comfortable lifting 20 pounds
• Able to spend a long time on your feet
• Time-management skills and comfortable working
independently
• Insured vehicle to drive between clients in Chicago and
the suburbs
• Comfortable using non-power tools like hand-held pruners, watering bucket, hose, scissors, etc.
• Goal-oriented and has a passion for customer service and motivation

Job Type: Part-time, full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
