The very first pic is the group of volunteers who started this event 8 years ago! Last year, we ended up with 170 volunteers, many of which were involved in Year One! Every single year we've added something to make it bigger and better. In the last 8 years, there have been over 6,000 riders, raising approximately $34,000. The amount of volunteer time and dedication that these 170 people have displayed is priceless! With that being said, after discussions the last few weeks, we all have decided we need to take the year off. The combination of storm damage, idea burnout, and the immense amount of time involved has led to this decision. The calendar just seems to move too fast and everyone involved needs a break. Thank you for your understanding and especially for the last 8 years!

With year 7 in the books, the HHR has had the honor to host over 6,000 riders and help raise approximately $34,000 for our students! This could not be possible without John and Sharon's generosity, but there's one more "small" group that we would like to introduce that's pretty critical before leaving you alone for a while! They happen to be 168 of the best people one could be a part of! Volunteer actors, drivers, trailer supervisors, registration, security, loading/unloading, etc! Enjoy the pics and feel free to share any of your own!

This year we decided to add/change a couple things in order to improve your experience! First, we were able to park at a more remote location and offer shuttle service in and out. The 7th grade class, led by their wonderful sponsor and a few parents, did an outstanding job safely parking and helping guide over 1,300 people! Second, we were able to add live entertainment to the waiting lines! We have learned very quickly that this was a huge hit! Bill and Bryn Peterson led things off, followed by Belle Chavy, then Jacob and Olivia Williams, and ended with Rick Stanley! They all did an outstanding job and performed as volunteers! Sorry, in all the hubbub we only got two pictures but they all did incredible!

There will be more to come in the next couple days including pictures, video, recognition of our wonderful individuals who added live entertainment to the event this year, and much more! For now, we just want to say "thank you" for helping us set several new highs during year 7! We had 1333 people ride hay racks, 1100 chose to go through the barn, WE HAD 168 VOLUNTEERS, and raised close to $10,000 after expenses. To our knowledge, after 7 years, we've had 0 injuries! The pic is courtesy of one of our outstanding 168 VOLUNTEERS!

THINGS TO KNOW! YEAR 7 EDITION.
$10 suggested donation!

Saturday, Oct 29th, 2022! We are so thankful that after 6 years, there have been approximately 4700 participants with, to our knowledge, ZERO accidents or injuries! We have always and will always consider your safety our number one concern, but with that being said, it is also a credit to all of you for helping us out by following and respecting the rules!
We feel the more you know, the smoother things will go! Here is a list of "all things to know"....

$10 SUGGESTED DONATION! We challenge you to find better entertainment at that affordable price! Come prepared!

Really cool $15 HHR t-shirts benefiting after prom will be available at the door!

Upon arrival, there will be a group helping with parking. We do have several handicap parking spots available right up front if needed. Please inform a parking attendant and they will take care of you! THIS YEAR, if it remains dry we will be parking in a huge lot out by the driveway. You will have the option to walk or wait on a shuttle and ride in so we can keep all congestion out of the way of our talented drivers!

Concession stand and restrooms available.
Concession stand and t-shirt sales are cash or check only.

Weather depending, we plan to have live music this year, near the waiting lines, involving several talented local individuals/groups to add to your already great experience!

All attendees MUST register at the main shed and fill out a waiver form. All children must have an adult sign off for them. At that point, you will be given your ticket which will allow you to board one of our 9 continuous hay racks.

The first trailer will venture out at 7:30. You WILL HAVE TO BE ON THE PROPERTY, IN LINE TO REGISTER BY 9:30 to assure you a ride! PLEASE do not arrive before 7:00.

At the conclusion of your haunted hay rack ride, you will have the option to go through the haunted barn and walking path. For those who do not wish to take part, you will simply stay on the trailer and unload back at the registration barn. Everyone MUST register and take part in the haunted hay rack portion to be able to have the opportunity to enter the haunted barn and walking path so PLEASE do not waste your time waiting in line without registering first!

We do not put an age limit on anything. You know your children better than we do! If you find that they struggle with the hay rack portion, then we would strongly suggest them not taking part in the haunted barn and walking path. Their will be free children's activities offered in the registration barn for all children whether they choose to ride or not! If you have doubts, please ask a parent who has already been through!

Please be respectful to everyone around you, including actors and other participants! There will be a trailer sponsor on every trailer that will let you know what is allowed and what is not. Please do not be "the one" who ruins the experience for everyone else on your trailer!

No smoking, va**ng, or open flames of any sort ANYWHERE on the premises. While in the barn and walking path, only use the light provided by us. Keep your cell phones and lighters in your pockets!

Strobe lights will be in use

While in the barn and walking path, keep your hands to yourself. Do not intentionally touch or grab actors, tarp, or any props! Entering the barn, you will be in groups of around 6. Stay with your group! No running ever!

All proceeds are split between e3 and FFA alumni. 100% of the profits go back one way or another to our students and staff!

No rerides due to our growing number of riders each year.

If it's cold, we will have blankets on the trailers so you do not have to carry them

Why donate if it's only a suggested donation and you live outside our district???? Simple, we have around 150 local volunteers put this on every year for two reasons. One, to help benefit our school district. Two, to give our community and ALL of our surrounding communities a very unique, intense, entertaining, and safe event that families of all sizes can afford while making memories that will last forever! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE donate!!!!

All updates and announcements will always be on our page first.

PLEASE SHARE! SEE YOU SAT, OCT 29TH!!!

Every single year the 150 volunteers strive to improve your experience in any way possible! With the growing popularity of the event, the waiting lines have also grown throughout the years. We are very excited to announce that this year we have some very talented local individuals and or groups that will take turns putting their singing talents on stage while you, not only eagerly await your hay rack, but you get entertainment at the same time! When all the details have been worked out we will have a huge shout out to these local talents! The pic below is another example of a great, loyal returning group featured at the HHR!
