Akira-Ya originated as an underground dining concept, but has blossomed into a catering, pop-up, and personal chef operation.

An invite-only "Koncept Kitchen" in which individuals interested in expanding their culinary knowledge can meet and exchange ideas. For those who want to cook, but don't have the means or basic knowledge. It has blossomed into a catering and private dining service.

OH SNAP! EASTER is the day after the Gratitude event. I'm thinking this is NOT a good thing. Thoughts on a reschedule date???? Asking for actual responses.

Our Story

Akira-Ya began as an invite-only cooking/dining group. Some events were educational, some were potluck, and others were multi-course dining events.

Now, we have expanded our services to catering, personal chef services, and MunchBox--our personalized bento box service. We have, nonetheless, maintained the close family feel of our original concept: Bringing good people together to share food and learn new ways to cook different foods.

** Catering and/or personal chef requests are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please provide necessary contact information if a wedding coordinator or staffing service is involved.
