Here’s a throwback to working on the first wedding I ever did flowers on, my own! I was still studying floristry at this point and we hadn’t even learnt how to create a wedding bouquet yet… I’d say I’ve fine turned my skills since this day, but I was pretty happy with the turn out considering I used my limited knowledge in floristry to wing it!
Just FYI - maternity leave has also been spent loving Dolly, although she still thinks I could stand to give her more attention!
Happy world breastfeeding week to all the mumma’s out there. Whether your currently breastfeeding, did breastfeed, will breastfeed or tried breastfeeding and it wasn’t for you or your little one. Now that I am breastfeeding myself, I understand the importance of there being as much accessible information on the topic as possible. Unfortunately the first few days of my breastfeeding journey I was not supported by the staff on my maternity ward. It was assumed I knew what I was doing (as a first time mum?) it made for a tough start but we are now very happy and comfortable with breastfeeding… if you are around Windsor enough you have probably already seen me whip my b**b out at a cafe 😂

About 2 years ago, I got myself a studio space to work out of in Windsor. I used that space and time to grow my business and was quite proud of the amount of work I was able to generate.
For those of you who know, I have taken some time off to have my baby and spend time with him (and love him, cuddle him and smother him in kisses) I will be re-entering the world of floristry soon, focusing on weddings, events and dried arrangements, this is my new world now, running a small business as a mum. I’m excited to learn and walk this new path and along this journey, welcome your feedback, tips and advice.
So if you can, come support me, if you can’t, no worries and if you don’t care, you probably haven’t read this far!

The other day I was visiting hubby at the shop when I lovely lady came in and asked if I could create an arrangement for this magnificent wooden pot. And yea I’m on mat leave, but I figured, why not! She requested all autumn colours ❤️🧡💛
Some of the flowers I made for the last wedding I did before going on maternity leave. The wedding was all white roses, absolutely beautiful and I had a wonderful time working with only one type of flower and creating depth and difference, something I’d never done before!

I am very tired in this picture. Last week I took on 2 weddings while also working my other job, at 7 months pregnant… I’m not complaining, I’m actually so happy I was able to provide for both weddings and am quite proud of myself! I have one more wedding booked before I take maternity leave and will keep you posted on when I’m taking event bookings orders again post bub!
With this bub due in just about 2 months I haven’t been in the studio as much as usual lately! I am still taking orders though, so reach out and I’ll get you the flowers you need 🖤😘
