o you. My mission is to work with you to create a ceremony that is unique to you and your family. A ceremony that will speak to the hearts of yourself, family and friends. I aim to create a ceremony that will have you all feeling connected and where the warmth and joy of the occasion returns whenever you or your guests think of the ceremony for years to come. Location: I live in Glenmore Park & I am available across the Sydney Region including:
Nepean Valley, Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Hills District, Camden District, North Shore, Inner City. I'm also happy to travel to Central Coast, Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands & beyond (a travel fee may apply).

About your celebrant...

Hi, I'm Melissa - Celebrant, Mum, Wife, Dreamer, Traveller and Business Owner.

I love the adventure of life and connections with people. My most favourite life adventures are with my family – my hubby, and two incredible children. We have a son almost leaving toddlerhood at 4 years old, and a daughter wise beyond her 10 years.

What I love most about being a celebrant is hearing your stories, the emotions behind them, your excitement at the new path your life is taking, and the celebration of your journey so far. And then I take all of this and deliver you a ceremony that reflects your personal story, this incredible point in time on your life journey. It's a privilege to work together with you to create a beautiful memory of this moment in your life.

For me, life is about experiences - I love travel, summer, and relaxing under the stars. I love adventures, new foods and helping others. I also enjoy volunteering at our school communities and in the adoption community.

Writing is another passion of mine, and you may also see some of my published freelance writing about parenting and adoption on the web occasionally, as well as my own travel blog and mum blog.

My style: My natural style as a celebrant is warm, relaxed and professional (yes, it's definitely possible to deliver a polished yet relaxed ceremony).

I create ceremonies that are wide and varied, suited to the wants and style of the couple and families I'm working with; ceremony styles include traditional, modern, relaxed, casual and formal.

My credentials: I'm qualified with a Certificate IV in celebrancy and I'm a Commonwealth Government registered celebrant. I am also a member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants. I have held executive positions on community committee’s and I also have a Certificate IV in Business Management.

I'm an accredited Toastmaster and an experienced public speaker including presentations to members of the Chinese Government on corporate governance, as a speaker at large conferences, and of course beautiful ceremonies celebrating important life occasions.
