Nasiib Catering
Hooyo is the Somali word for mom and my mom is an integral part of this company. Her love for cooking and sharing meals is the inspiration for Nasiib Catering. Growing up I would often times wake up to the sounds and aroma of my mother in the kitchen. Her singing and fragrant smells of fresh herbs and spices filled the air that would let me know Hooyo has prepared another delicious meal. My mother’s cooking was the heart of many family gatherings and the beacon that brought the family together. Friends and family would stop by on occasion to get a bite of my mom’s food. Hooyo’s kitchen was open to anyone, she would always whip you up quick and flavorful meal if you were hungry. With Nassib Catering, we want to share what has been then staple of many of my family’s events with others.
