I LOVED the Sweet & Salty Charcuterie Charcuterie Class! I have always wanted to learn how to make a salami rose (or in this case—a pepperoni rose). I learned so many secrets! You really need to check out their fabulous business!! The food they picked not only looked gorgeous, but was so yummy too!

4 years ago today…
I threw my first big event. I wanted to test the waters and see what kind of events I wanted to do. Women dance parties sounded fun, so I threw a big “Women’s Only” dance party called “This is Me” Women’s Event. It was “The Greatest Showman” themed.
There was more than just a DJ and dancing. We had dance instruction, acrobat performances, carnival treats, games, a photo booth and ballroom dance performances. It seriously was an event out of my dreams! I’m so glad I just jumped in and did it.
This event was the kick start to my event career. It’s been slow—with Covid getting in the way and my event space getting built slowly…but the plan and vision are solid. I’m so excited to make my events a reality.
Right now I’m in the planning phase of my Hogwarts Tea Party complete with a “make your own potions” tea bar. I’m so excited!
Sometimes you have to be brave and just leap into your dreams. You’ll never know where it will take you.

I LOVE dressing up and planning events that allow people to escape the mundane routine and do something memorable and unique.
My business has been on hold because it hasn’t been the right timing to begin. Right now I’m planning and working on the details of my themed tea parties. I’m crossing my fingers that I can start this Fall!!🤞🏻🤞🏻Eeek!!! 🤩 🤩🤩
It’s really all about getting my event space ready to go—so wish me luck that it can get finished! In the meantime get excited for these tea party themes!

I find that treats are one of my FAVORITE parts of an event. Treats help to break the ice when meeting new people. They also make my taste buds scream happiness!
These mini cupcakes from The Cocoa Bean- Bakery, Drinks, Ice Cream were divine! A perfect morsel to satisfy my sweet tooth at "This is Me" Women's Party.

Paper banners are SO easy to make. Grab some scrapbook paper and cut to any size needed, hole-punch it and string through with ribbon. 🙌🏻 It will dress up any table setting.

I grew up loving all things old fashioned. I watched black and white films, masterpiece theatre and anything regency. Most of these films boasted big parties, balls or gatherings. It became my dream to host--so much so that I designed my future home to be the "party" place.
I would think to myself, "wouldn't it be fun to dress up and go to a masquerade" or "how fun would it be to have a Wonderland Tea Party?"
I realized those events wouldn't happen unless I created them. I'm turning my passion of parties into a business that will create memories and I'm smiling just thinking about it.

In 2018, I "tested the waters" by starting to plan small private women parties to see if being an event planner was something I wanted to pursue. I did tea parties and themed gatherings and I loved every minute. So, I decided to go bigger.
In 2019, I jumped in and got my feet wet by planning my first big public women's event. The theme was "The Greatest Showman." There was a live DJ with dancing, games, prizes, carnival treats, acrobat performances, dance instruction, photo booth and ballroom dancing performances. It was everything I dreamed up and more.
Then it ended...and...I was lost. I didn't have a plan. I didn't know what I wanted to do next. Doubt and uncertainty crept in and I did a lot of soul searching. The busyness of life took over my event planning dreams and it took time to figure out my vision and niche.
In 2020, I was ready. I had started planning another big women's event for the Spring and Covid happened and the world shut down.
Now we are more than halfway through 2021. Events are starting to pick up and I'm hard and heavy in the planning phase ready to kickoff my business in 2022.
Sometimes life throws a curve ball. Sometimes things get pushed back or you take a different route.
The important thing is this:
IT'S NEVER TOO LATE.
It's never too late to try again, to start something new or follow your dreams. Timing is everything and maybe your time is now, in a few months or next year. Whenever it is right for you, make it happen. You never know until you try.
