It was a home-turf wedding last week for Y & N who married in the beautiful garden at The Uraidla Hotel then celebrated with guests upstairs in the Loft.
I got to be marriage celebrant and function manager for this one! Perfect November day for this lovely couple.
It was a family affair at our friend’s beautiful wedding yesterday! Kai, my son, was my roadie and also worked in the bar with my surrogate son, Harper, from the Uraidla. Heath, my hubby, was a groomsman and I officiated the ceremony… then got to stay for the party with my loves and so many wonderful friends and work colleagues. was the most stunning property with the loveliest couple there to ensure everything was just right- they even organised the perfect weather!

I opened my emails to find a beautiful message from Lucy and Timothy on their 1st wedding anniversary. I always wonder how things are going for the beautiful couples I marry! I’m grateful to see updates on Instagram and Facebook of amazing overseas holidays, new homes and new additions to the family… and getting special emails like this, complete with photos and updates of an amazing first year of marriage just makes me so happy!

I met Rob and the rest of these amazing people when I worked at Lifeline. I learnt so much in that role… and I met some of the most kind, caring and generous people I’ve ever known. It was so wonderful to see so many of my Lifeline friends again. I still remember the day Rob came to work and announced that he had asked Emma to marry him!

Today is National celebrant day! I’ve married so many beautiful couples in the four years I’ve been a celebrant. It’s an absolute honour to stand with them on their special day and join them in marriage. I may be an old fashioned romantic, but I truly believe in love and in family. 💕 I feel so aligned with this role because celebrating love is one of my highest priorities in this life. St Francis Winery is the hidden gem in the south. I love officiating ceremonies there... the gardens are gorgeous and the staff are excellent.
This is the spot if you’re looking for a venue for your ceremony and reception all in one place. Head over to the open day on Sunday 27th November to see the venue all set up and meet some of the wonderful suppliers. I’m disappointed I won’t be there this time as I’m booked.
