Ever wonder about what time to plan your ceremony? This is one of the questions that is asked over and over again.

As I think back to when I was planning our wedding day, I remember being so thankful I was a photographer and knew about the vibrant lighting, in order to set our ceremony time! I know for most of you brides reading this, you more than likely aren’t a photographer or don’t keep a close eye on the lighting times.

Today is the best day of our love story. This is the day, 1 year ago I was able to say YES to Mike for forever! .
Real Life With Angel: “My hand reached for the rail of the stairs; I took a deep breath and stepped down the winding staircase. With each food in front of the other, I was getting closer and closer to this new story, a story that WE could create as husband and wife. Once reaching the last step, there my dad stood with his hand reaching for mine; I grasped a hold of him. Then the moment I had been waiting for... the barn doors swung and there he was, my best friend and love of my life.....

Something that I don’t do often, is show my weakness because it opens up my true life struggles. In order for me to tell you my “WHY,” for what I do, I have to let you in on the thing I HATED most about myself, the thing I was often disappointed in and tried over and over again to fix. I even prayed that God would remove this piece of me that he created and loved.
I’m dyslexic. I used to hate that I had a learning difference growing up and through college. I gave 100% for my studies and almost every time I was let down because I wasn’t “book smart.” This learning difference really messed with my head for the longest time. Thankfully, my family was so supportive but I still had troubles. Even though I was never looked down upon, I still had the Feeling as if I didn’t fit in or I simply was “dumb.”
I remember so many conversations With my mom. She would say over and over again, I have the gift of dislixia. Never knowing how to take that, I couldn’t understand, because I was looking at it the wrong way. I see it all so clearly now. I used the opposite side of my brain which is for creativity and the arts. .
Now years later, it’s no surprise that I work in a creative industry. I have learned my dyslexia, the thing at one point I hated most about myself, I now appreciate the most. There are many positive outcomes and one of my favorite side effects being dyslexic, is the power of creativity and thinking outside of the box. There are so many brilliant people who have my same struggle. Check out my insta story to see who these brilliant people are! I also wrote a blog post that’s over my background of how I fell into photography!
Being a photographer, allows me to be a true creative. Those times I’ve prayed asking God to remove what he gave me, I’m now thanking him for how he has wired me. Who knows, if this wouldn’t have been my story, if he wouldn’t have blessed me with a learning difference, I might not have had the mindset to become an artist and tell story’s through images.

These two adventurous souls take their love to enchanted rock. I enjoy observing couples during sessions and getting to understand who they are plus what makes them, them.

During this session, it was so easy to see, that Josh and Devin have such Vibrant love for one another. These two always had something to be smiling or laughing about, which was a joy to see on my end. I am so glad I was able to meet this sweet couple as well as capture their story!
