Biography
DJ SALT born Jeremy Salter is an American Music Producer, DJ, Film Producer and Music Executive. Beyond DJing at local clubs and parties, DJ Salt established his name first as a Music Producer and Audio Engineer locally.
His roots run deep in music as his father was a keyboard player and drummer in his local church and Salt did as well..
The passion never left as when he got older he grew more interested in Hip Hop Music Production. He states..” The Beats are what got me interested in Hip Hop. The first Dr. Dre The Chronic was the album that made me wanna make beats . Micheal Jackson, Timbaland, RZA, Scott Storch, Just Blaze, Phil Collins and many others are influential in my music as well. Growing up in the projects and being a biracial child has truly helped me to understand music of all cultures. We had Blacks, Whites, Hispanics , Russians, Africans, Mexicans ect.. all living in the same projects and it was a melting pot community. I knew and respected every cultures food, dance, and last but not least their music.”.
