Alternative wedding photography We are Toby & Han - an awesome photography duo shooting weddings, couples, family and fashion.

We love the little details that make weddings unique. We love to snap people on the dance floor. We like photographs that capture personalities. And we especially love vinyl, movies & cups of tea. We are located in Derbyshire but we love to travel & shoot throughout the UK and beyond (we especially enjoy getting sand in the lens!)

These stunning venues were all new to us for 2024. A Villa with the most epic views of Florence, a lovingly restored barn in the Cotswolds, a remote estate in rural Wales, our first ceremony in a disused quarry & a couple of exclusive invitations to private homes.

We love the diversity of shooting in different places & the creativity sparked by newness & discovery.

But even a venue we’ve visited many times previous can feel entirely different on another day, in another light, so no wedding is the same.

And most importantly for us, in our work, a venue lives and breathes once it’s filled with your energy and your people. This is when the real magic happens. More on those beautiful people to come…

We returned to some much loved venues last year, where we feel right at home. Here are a few of the places that now hold many memories for us & our couples.

We enjoyed discovering beautiful new spaces, too. More of these to come….

We can’t wait for 2025 to get started. We’ve got our eyes on some exciting new locations to name just a few. And we’ll be lucky enough to return to some familiar favourites.

Here are some 2024 moments in landscape that caught my eye as I look back over 12 months of absolute 10/10 weddings!

We were lucky enough to return to venues we know & love, discover new places, work alongside top notch suppliers & planners & travel to Italy, France, Wales, London, Staffordshire, Yorkshire, Sussex, Liverpool & shoot close to our Derbyshire home. To all our previous couples, venues & planners who continue to recommend us… a mega heartfelt thank you. You rock!!!

Aaaaaaand we’re back! We took a little break from socials over Christmas & the new year… which turned into most of January! But here we are, busy with enquiries & ready for loads of exciting stuff in the 2025 pipeline.

We’re starting with a little look back over 2024 & all the awesome couples whose weddings we shared. Compiling a best of blog is a little mind blowing (& tricky to choose a small enough selection!) We can’t thank all our couples who trusted us to document their weddings enough. You took us to incredible places; shared beautiful moments with us; danced with us & kept us learning & creating. We feel so lucky to still be here, photographing & now filming days filled with love and joy. We’re 12 years in! Keep em coming :)

The books are now open for 2026 weddings & we’ve got room for a couple more 2025 dates, so get in touch if you’d like to chat more about what we can offer you.

Cripes, we’re a bit behind on the old social media game, aren’t we?! Summer has gone by in a blur of confetti, Premier Inns, parks & pedal bikes. Now that little blonde has started school we might get into an office occasionally… although there are still a fair few confetti dates ahead of us! Woo hoo!

Here’s a sneak peek from this absolute belter of a wedding weekend, where we discovered a whole new pocket of Wales, which allowed me to declare on repeat how much I love Wales. It really is so beautiful!
