Cosmic Orbiters is a game created by indie developer, Belin Fieldson as a way to access digital domes and planetariums in multiplayer gaming. Each player controls a starship which they pilot around the surface of the digital dome. There are a variety of starships to choose from, and configurations for maps are chosen by the administrator at the beginning of each game. Cosmic Orbiters can be licens

ed for play at any venue with a variety of licensing models. The server for operating the game can be provided by Cosmic Orbiters, or the game can be installed on existing infrastructure. Cosmic Orbiters requires a high speed internet connection for the server running the game. Cosmic Orbiters uses Siphon to broadcast a live stream to the projector array at high speed. This configuration requires OSX as the Operating System of the projector machine.
