I hate to do it, but I'm calling off the event this weekend. Trust me when I say a night Rallycross is NOT the time you want to be caught in a thunderstorm. Sorry y'all, we'll try to fit in another night event this year, but this time of year is tricky.

Join us this Sunday for Rallycross #5 at BIG O Speedway in Ennis TX!

This is the closest Rallycross event to DFW and always a great event for a ton of runs on a flat surface (pretty much dirt autocross) that almost any car could race if you’re not afraid to get dusty!

Last event we had four drivers take over 30 runs for just $10 per person at the gate and $30 per driver! You can’t beat that!

Thanks to everybody who joined us today at BIG O Speedway!

Extra thanks to those who helped run the event while I'm at home sick. You guys are super stars. This job is a lot easier working from home!

We set a record for number of timed runs today at 408! I'm super grateful to have a site that requires zero track prep. Just show up and run. If it weren't for that, we wouldn't have been racing this weekend. I hope to run here more next year, as it's a great place to get newcomers hooked. Jim and I are talking about ways to make it more exciting for those of us accustomed to the terrain at Redneck Off-Road Heaven.

Hey race fans! Weather looks great for this Sunday’s Rallycross #3 at BIG O Speedway!

But just a heads up, Austin, our fearless leader is feeling under the weather and most likely won’t be attending. Myself and other North Texas Rallycross members will do our best to give y’all a great Rallycross!

This is a great event for tons of seat time, And we will do our best to put on a great competitive race but think of it more as a test and tune, fun day.

I drove up to Oklahoma yesterday to check out the condition of the track. There are many muddy spots, but we could work around those. My main concern is the runoff damage done to the track in these recent storms. Oh the joys of having a site with elevation change. Because other obligations I have this weekend, I'm worried I won't have time on Saturday to fix the track to a state where it will hold up to a day of racing. Because of this, as well as other personal complications and a chance of rain combined with our outstanding luck with that this last year, I'm going to call the event this weekend off.

Austin Rally Project has an event Sunday. Josh runs a great event with a smooth track and great competition. I'd encourage everyone to make the trip down there this weekend.

Sorry all. I hope to see everyone for our night race on July 6th!

Sorry for not posting earlier, we've been keeping an eye on the weather. As of now, the Sunday race at Redneck Off-Road Heaven is still on, but with the current rain and potential for more on Saturday and Sunday, we don't want to raise false hopes. Rallycross - Third time is the charm? This Sunday at Redneck Off-Road Heaven just east of Ardmore Oklahoma.

Looks like we are going to have some awesome cars and great drivers.

We're out here 2 days early, on the tractor, fixing the track after having not seen it for almost 6 months.

There's a significant chance of rain tomorrow. If it's 1/4" or more, I suspect we will not be racing Sunday.

2024 schedule!

For daytime events, we generally time runs from 10am-2pm. We may start earlier or go later depending on the weather. Being late won’t hurt our feelings or your results.

Rallycross tomorrow is CANCELED. The track has way too much rain drainage damage to run unprepped, and long story short, the tractor is broken. I've been out here all day trying to make this work. I do want to clarify that this was out of anyone's control, and we are forever grateful of everything Redneck Off-Road Heaven does for our club and sport.
