Tomorrow’s the day! My last gig for… ever? Never say never, but it won’t be soon. One last run through the set, the transitions, see what sounds good and what could be better. You’ll never get it perfect because live things always change, but I try hard to make the show exciting for you guys.

This series with at Wan is so high up the list. Two sets I played in particular still have me on a high. A main set with the place PACKED to the brim, and what was probably the last hardstyle set before COVID shut down the world. The lighting operator was spectacular!!

My first international gig: being flown out to Yangon to play at was an incredible experience. The crowd in Myanmar was absolutely roaring and I had so much fun there. I wish them peace and stability and I will definitely be back for a longer stay to explore their beautiful country at some point.

You need so much more for a great show than a dj. Lighting must be on point, and a good MC means the world. is the absolute best man for the MC gig in our scene in SG by a mile.

That moment you know is coming because you told the lighting operator before your set, when the room goes dark just before the drop, and you know the crowd will go nuts. To have that roll in like a tidal wave is one of a kind pure FIRE 🔥

The era was the most exciting one. It was pure growth in the scene, and what almost single-handedly did to hardstyle in Singapore is nothing short of incredible. One day AfterDark will be back and take things to the next level again.
