Dungeons & Dragons at Chance and Counters Cardiff with Alder and Fable - 07/01/2025

Without a doubt, my favourite aspect of being a professional Dungeon Master is being able to bring jaw-dropping monster reveals to the table. When the players at the tables next over stop what they’re doing to marvel at your big bad monster… you know you’ve done well.

We at Alder and Fable pride ourselves on the work our artists put into each aspect; whether it’s running game, painting minis and scenery, or 3D printing the next epic monster.

We have hit this new year with a bang!!!

Nobody expected to be facing a gargantuan blue dragon in a cafe with a table of near beginner players… You can guarantee your first ever experience will be memorable!!

Massive thank you to Loot-Studios Loot Studios for designing this epic dragon in their monthly release!!

Even bigger thank you and applause to Nate Heslop for his skill in painting!!!

Tuesday the 17th of December 2024 saw the very first Dungeons & Dragons Christmas oneshot with Alder and Fable and Chance and Counters Cardiff - and what a blast it was!!!

Dungeon Masters: Ray Walsh, Liam Knipe and Morgan Lloyd immersed our three full tables in winter mystery and mayhem.

We are back in early January with even more adventures to be had!!

Big battles… BIG monsters last night at Chance and Counters Cardiff Dungeons & Dragons Tuesday Oneshot evening, brought to you by Alder and Fable

Scarecrows and a terrifying Fiend plagued the village of Darkfell on John Hutch - Actor’s table.

Whereas Giant confectionary really took the biscuit on the table run by

14 players in all!! A fantastic time!!

We’ll be working in close relationship with Emrys Entertainments, Chance and Counters Cardiff and Chance and Counters and more, to bring you amazing fantasy and role-play!!
