If there is a singular song that defines Country Gongbang, for me, it is “Mushroom Hunter”. This beautiful song combines elements of bluegrass, classical, and pop music, and leaves the listener wanting more! This is from their 7/6/24 performance at the Museum & Cultural Center at 5ive points in Cleveland, TN. What a fabulous performance it was!!

Have you gotten your tickets to see 컨트리공방 Countrygongbang at the Museum and Cultural Center at 5ive Points on July 6th yet? This show is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for Cleveland TN!! The band came to the US for the first time last year on a grant from the International Bluegrass Music Association and now they have started their first full US tour. From California to Maine, hitting some of the most iconic stages and festivals in the country, AND YES!!, a stop right here in Cleveland TN!! Spring is in the air and festival season is upon us!! We know there are always choices to be made, and while we certainly emphasize promoting our own events at the Pickin’ Palace, our larger goal in all of this is to promote and support live music in general. One of the long standing traditions in the greater Chattanooga area is the Boxcar Pinion Forever Bluegrass Festival. They are celebrating 32 years this May. Check it out here:

As I’ve mentioned at the last few live shows, PPPP Proudly Presents is partnering with some fellow house show promoters and local music enthusiasts to try and bring more live music shows to downtown Cleveland TN. No worries, we are still 100% committed to our house concert series, but we have limited capacity and why not shoot for more?! As a part of that we are helping to promote this awesome event on May 3rd at The Old Woolen Mill downtown. DON’T MISS East Nash Grass!! Details on the poster!!

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to the show with Liam Purcell & Cane Mill Road this past Sunday. What a treat that was!! I mentioned some upcoming music to stay apprised of, so here’s your reminder:

Friday April 19th - Past PPPP performer the Thomas Cassell Band will be at The Woodshop in Chattanooga as part of the Forever Bluegrass Fridays. Doors at 7:00pm, show at 8:00pm. A mere $5 cover is a steal for this kind of talent, so come on out and support. Reach out to Pinion Cindy for more details.

Friday May 3rd - East Nash Grass presented by Undertaker Productions (of which PPPP is a part) will be at the Weaver Room at the Old Woolen Mill in downtown Cleveland. Doors at 6:30pm, opening act starts at 7:30pm. $25 at the door. Msg me for additional details.
