It’s a slow start to work today. It’s -5 centigrade here, both heaters are on & im wearing ski trousers!

AND… my husband has just made me the best bacon & egg sammich for breakfast. All I want to do now is go back to bed!!!

Just putting it out there that a friend is selling his Iron Man costume… don’t know if anyone is interested or his price but I can put you in touch if you are. He’s uk based but is holidaying to WDW in Sept & im sure wouldn’t mind an empty suitcase to fill on the way home!!!

Getting back to work was hard! Two weeks of holiday followed by 2 Christmases & a New Year then a cold snap has not made it easy to want to go into my workshop! However… a big box of costumes arrived for alterations. For the next few months I’ll mostly be in the land of Oz.

NB: I will be working on commissions & Etsy orders along side this.

I must have been on Santa’s nice list this year. These are so beautiful & have some weight to them. Will have to get Blaster Master - props and fabrication used to helping me with a bald cap because I see a new costume in my future!!

On holiday in Cape Verde & I’ve actually seen cotton growing. I’ve no idea what type or if it’d be any good for fabric (don’t see why not, given enough of it) but the flowers are beautiful.

All done. Custom made to my client’s measurements & to level 3 specs of CRL. I loved working with this fabric & as a fan of the Isard’s story it was great to make in this colour.

Jacket is so almost done. Just a few poppers/snaps to add, remove the rest of the tacking stitches & give it a good press. Custom made to level 3 501st CRL specs

I don’t just Star Wars cosplay & if I had to lose my hair, I’m bloody going to use it. This weekend’s cosplay… it was honestly the most comfortable I’ve ever been in costume!! Big thanks to Blaster Master - props and fabrication for all the weathering & for the jacket.

Trousers are complete & main body of the jacket is together. Now onto sleeves & trying not to cuss - I love them when they go right but when they don’t, it’s not for impressionable ears!!!

I’ve been trying to understand these new EU GPSR rules coming into effect on Dec 13th. I think I’m ok with my present Etsy listings but anything new to the site, or a new site, or one off commissions will need to be treated differently.

Consequently… I will need to pause trading new items within EU & unfortunately NI for a bit until I properly get to grips with what I need to do. I’m sorry.

Getting my tailoring back on. It was a slow start today due to the sub zero (centigrade) temperatures in the uk right now but any progress is good progress.
