WHAT IS HOTWIRE?
HOTWIRE is a performance and video art series spotlighting excellence by artists who are Q***r / Trans / 2-Spirit / Black / Indigenous / People of Colour.
The series was founded in August 2017 by Claudia Edwards.
Past artists have included: Lynx Sainte-Marie (TO), Rosary Solimanto (JC), Sarah Hill (NO), Nabeela Vega & Suz Evans (CHI), Elaine Thap (LA), Aditi Ohri (ATX), and Montréal-based artists: Adriana Disman, Stephanie Creaghan, TranieTronic (Atif Siddiqi), Baron Janvier (Carlos Soriano), Michael Martini, Iqrar Rizvi, Suppressions 2, DJ BBBy (Colbert Casimir).
