I mean, what's the point in designing accessories for a living if you don't go all out for your own wedding?

For the ceremony I had a scattering of hairpins and combs in my hair, which I later accentuated by adding a matching Halo crown for the reception.

My bridesmaids each had a custom tiara that had similar elements but were still different from each other. Given it was October we each had painted jackets too.

I designed boutonnieres for my husband, Groomsmen and our Dads, and had the pleasure of creating hatinators for our mums.

It was a pleasure to see so many of my own creations worn by the people I love most ❤️

I've had some new followers lately so I thought I would re-introduce myself.

I'm Alexandra, the creator behind Alexandra Bespoke, where I design and craft custom bridal hair accessories, jewellery and paint leather jackets and shoes.

I work from a studio in the Highlands with occasional assistance from my dog Harley and a huge amount of support from my soon to be husband, Steven.

I am a lover of all things shiny, but I know this isn't true for every bride to be and that is why I have created over 100 different accessory designs, all of which can be customised to suit your unique style.

In addition to Alexandra Bespoke I am also the editor of magazine, where I work with a range of incredibly talented Highland based suppliers to inspire couples to create their dream weddings.

I absolutely love a challenge, especially when it involves getting creative so I encourage all brides to think big when it comes to designing their dream accessories.
