Entertain the kids with some simple games with items you can find at home!

Featured game : Fill it up!
Mission: Fill each "hole" with only one stone with the shortest time by working together as a team.

Lesson to take away: Working together in harmony, power of team work.

Materials: Empty ferrero rocher boxes and stones (cleaned from old fish tank) as an alternative, you can use marbles or any small item that can fit. Make sure its big enough for easy grip. Egg trays can be used to replace the Ferrero boxes.

How to play?
Stones at one end, box at the other end. Kids can only pick one stone per trip to fill one "hole". Two kids will have to work together to fulfill the task within the shortest time. Use a stop watch to time them. After the first round, let them know the time they have clocked. Ask if they can complete it at a shorter time. You may suggest ways that they can work together better. Repeat the game again. Have as many tries as they like.

At the end of the game, highlight that they both won by working together as a team. Applaud their team effort.
