The Kyle Cannon Memorial event was an emotional event and one that Kyle would be proud of. From the 3rd round of BGF qualifying where Cheryl went out, placed a wreath and poured out a Coors Light and then each of the guys celebrated Kyle in their own way down the track, with Jason Silva being the last man down with a Coors Light in his hand, stopping at the finish line and raising a toast to a smiling man above.
Congratulations to Jason Silva and crew for winning their first BGF event and to Kelly Rhead who continues to keep going those rounds and just coming up a little short to take home the event win again. Great job to all.
Cheryl Cannon handed out a one of a kind trophy to both our Winner and Runner up along with all of the BGF participants of the event. They are a beautiful souvenir for your trophy case.
Thank you Wes Gray for continuing to create your beautiful prints as you knocked this one out of the park on your water colored design is just breath taking. To all of the BGF racers, thank you for your donation as it will be made in Kyle's name to the Palmdale animal shelter and caring note that you left on the print as we presented it to Cheryl and the family.
Kevin of Stith Printing, thank you for your generous donation of the gift certificate that was handed out to the boat number that was drawn by Cheryl. The winner going to Westerfield Motorsports/ Jeff Martin driven #517.
