Even though I can't share their pictures, I wanted to wish Donnie and Sarah a very happy anniversary!

The weather was much like it is today, but that didn't put a damper on things! There was still so much love and laughter.

Edward and Elizabeth had a wonderfully laid back and very them wedding. They prioritized being able to interact with all their guests.

Happy day late Anniversary you two! So glad the weather was so much nicer for you yesterday and not 45, damp and windy like last year for your ceremony!

One of the joys of being a planner in the DMV is realizing you have a Saturday morning wedding the weekend the cherry blossoms peak. And that wedding is in Arlington.

Friday favorite - Behind the scenes from 20+ years of planning!

My grandmother -80th birthday (she'll be 99 this July)

When I started planning, I also decided I should know how to make a cake in case there was ever a "cake emergency" and I found it relaxing in the chaos of everything. I never did have to make one thankfully!

This was one of the cakes I was proudest of because basket weave was a bitch and I actually took it out in public for my who family to see. And she loved it!

When I say I enjoy keeping up with clients and seeing their lives grow and change, I never really thought about the other end of the new kid, pet, job.

I just found out about the sudden passing of the very first client that ever hired me. I was so nervous meeting her and her fiancee that I locked my bag with all my paperwork, my keys and cell phone in my car. She was absolutely wonderful about it and still hired me anyway. I will always appreciate that.
