The Pitted Peach (more on the name later) sprang from a love for decor, crafting and all things home-making for my beautifully blessed family. A bit about little 'ole me.... After graduating college, I taught preschool and was a private teacher for a wonderful family. After they moved out of state I pursued a marketing career and spent the better part of a decade in the corporate world. In the int

erim, I re-united with my college sweetheart, (now Marine veteran) and we married in the summer of 2011. I love antique stores, markets and all things vintage. Luckily my husband does as well. The occasional weekend gets fun with shopping, either window or actual. After many years of crafting and making items for my own home and dabbling in some party planning, I decided to venture out and put some love into pieces for others to enjoy. (Well, aaaaaand my husband has been encouraging me for many years to do so.) I love to create and incorporating that into my home for a space for my family that is both functional and a laid back, yet stylish, is a balance I love to achieve (and change up) constantly. Tip: Seasonal decor and 'shopping your home' are two great ways to do this! WELCOME to the PITTED PEACH.
