The First Look: Keep it private, or let your wedding party and family be involved? Sometimes you can have the best of both worlds! Rain put a kink in things on Paige + Justin’s wedding day. Originally, their first look was to take place in Olde City, but we had to pivot last-minute. Shortly after seeing each other for the first time, they turned to the window in the background to smile and wave at their loved ones looking on from above. Such a sweet moment shared 💕

It's preparedness and experience. We are constantly at the ready to shoot whatever we see, at a moment's notice. We also learn how to anticipate moments by observing and watching what's going on around us. This comes with experience because we have the technical skills down pat and can focus on MOMENTS 💜

We always like to take a few moments at the end of getting ready to get a few bridal portraits. So much time and effort goes into creating the perfect wedding day look, so we want to honor that by capturing some solo portraits of the bride (and of course we get solo shots of the groom as well!) 🥰

What would it feel like to be heard and supported by your vendor team on the day of your wedding? That's what it's like to have your wedding at the and to work with us as your photo/video team 💜

We want nothing but the best for our clients and we want them to enjoy their day. So that means listening to their requests and needs to make sure we can support them, while also offering our suggestions based on our years of experience. It's such a collaborative effort all around. And the venue staff can make a huge difference as well.

Every single person at the New York Botanical Garden venues are extremely kind and welcoming and we love working with them (as do our couples)!

The bride and her girls 🎀 Rebecca and Caio were such a special couple and we knew it the instant we saw them interact with their family and friends. So much love and laughter shared on their wedding day(s) - yup we photographed their smaller covid event and then their larger wedding the following year 🥹

That electric moment right before a first look ✨Couples often ask us where they should do their first look and here's what we tell them...

We arrive early on the day of the wedding and scout out the location and grounds. It's actually better for us to scout the day of so that we know what the weather is like, where the sun is at that time of day (if it's even out) and what the ground conditions are like. We'll also coordinate with the other vendors such as the planner, videographer and even the florist, so that we can find the best and most secluded spot possible!!
