Christmas Day 5K

A gift from me to me, to remind myself I can make better choices to get healthier.

Years and years of self sabotage, using food to medicate and distract from other areas in my life

Bit deep for a Christmas morning but this was HUGE for me this morning 👌🏽

Going into Christmas the lightest I’ve been in over ten years!

December has been hard with lots of poor choices food wise, and my average step count has decreased however I’m logging 18 stone 13lbs as my pre Christmas weight and that’s is amazing!

Total loss since my heaviest weight last year is 5 stone 10lbs down!

I’ll try and keep the running going over the festive period for damage control and for all other benefits that it gives 💪🏼

The numbers have been slow week on week but they all add up!

First time ever I’m not in the mindset of “I’ll start in January”

Small tweaks lead to long term results!

Bring your Mrs to work day featuring a spa hotel with an infinity pool which is closed due to a red weather warning and a town called saundersfoot where nobody serves food after 8.30pm 😂

Today’s office was iconic!

Unreal to be at the National stadium ahead of Wales v Australia!

Not a great result for the team but on a very personal note a huge gig for the bucket list!

Thank you to the Wru and Principality Stadium experience for having me.

Four years today since I saved his life after his ticker wanted to pack in

Just a few days later and post surgery (with broken ribs) his exact words “next time that happens to me, leave your 20 stone body off me cause my ribs are in fu***ng agony”

It’s great to have you dad!

Jokes aside, it was one of the most traumatic experiences of mine, my mothers and of everyone else in our family’s lives but credit to the amazing 999 call handler on the phone who literally guided us step by step to keep him alive!
