Thinking about not having a wedding party? You’re not alone!

Many couples have chosen to dramatically reduce the size or opt out of the traditional entourage altogether for various reasons.

> Some feel they’re at a different life stage with different priorities where having a wedding party doesn’t quite fit in.

> Others struggle because they have an abundance of meaningful relationships and find it too stressful to narrow down the list of friends.

Friends became life partners

When Dan and Nicole first met, it was completely unexpected. They never looked at it as more than an authentic human connection. However, the more time, the more talking, the more they shared their experiences, the closer they got. A few months in, they were full-fledged friends, and not the superficial kind. But neither Dan nor Nicole were in the place to want more or give more. Their relationship was innocent and built on pure friendship.

About a year after their first meeting, feelings started to change, and Dan asked Nicole out on a "friend date". It was an incredible night that set their relationship on a new course.

One day, while out walking Nicole started to cry when reading a street post about a lost cat. It was at that moment Dan knew that Nicole was “the one”, and that he wanted to share the future with such a kind and loving person. Dan spent the next three months shopping for the perfect ring and preparing the perfect proposal.

On a beautiful day in August, Nicole and Dan were married at their home surrounded by their families and friends…and it all began with a chance meeting.
