A couple of Ararat Live favourites co-writing in the USA.

My friend Imogen Clark came all the way over from Australia and we wrote a Christmas song that she just released. It’s called Not Christmas Here.

I had a blast writing this one with her. I met her when I was last on tour in Australia and she was singing with my pal Jim Lauderdale. She’s a talent for sure. Give it a listen and enjoy!

This week we have the new GPT 100 Miler running event in town. Boosting the vibe further we’re putting on two gigs at the brewery Thursday and Friday evenings. Both are FREE events we put on for you the community.

Thursday 23rd NOV 7:30pm: Laura Hill

Award winning Artist Laura Hill is an exquisite singer songwriter from the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia. She’s toured and supported with the likes of Passenger UK, Matt Corby, Daryl Braithwaite, Colin Hay, Juzzie Smith, Kim Churchil, Matt McHugh, Ash Grunwald and Tijuana Cartel.

Friday 24th NOV 7:30pm: Julian James

Julian James has been around Melbourne’s live music scene since before he was allowed to drink in bars. Julian has released four well received albums to date, and a 2020 Chain award, all of which he’s road tested at some of the countries biggest festivals.

Both artists are not to be missed so get on down to the brewery both nights. Get in early for a feed and a few drinks. Sorry no bookings. Music starts from 7:30pm both nights. See you there!
