Thanks to everyone who was at the Barter Market yesterday!

I'm actively looking for new locations in the area to hold Creature Crafternoons. I have two happening at The Wyld Bar and Cafe through the end of the year and sadly, the venue will be closing it's doors. 😢

TLDR: There is a "witch hunt" going on in PA due to antiquated State laws between a metaphysical business owner and the Chief of Police in her local township.

The long of it: This has been something that has been on my radar for a bit. While I understand that Paganism/Witchy services do in fact require some sort of "for entertainment purposes only" warning label for anything being sold as a divination item (tarot, runes, etc). I use one for my store that reads, "Items created by OmniFeral are made by traditional pagan/witchcraft/alternative spiritual practice standards and are sold as a curio item." Which I am required by most TOS for where I make sales to do.

But... Depending on how religious or conservative a state is, there may actually STILL be laws against "Fortune Telling" in your state. One small business owner, Beck Lawrence, has been fighting with a Police Chief in Hanover PA over the fact that she reads tarot in her brick and mortar business (I first saw the story on TikTok because there were religious "protestors" handing out Christian pamphlets in front of her store and it went viral) : https://www.eveningsun.com/story/news/local/2023/10/05/witch-hunt-in-hanover-over-tarot-readings-no-says-hanover-borough-chad-martin-police-chief/71073331007/

Due to the fact that they are being targeted and apparently threatened to be arrested, Beck is taking it upon themself to make an effort to change antiquated laws in their area so that they can continue operation. Due to some technical issues with my camera, I will be unable to list all of the rhinestone horns tomorrow. The release date for the rhinestone horns will be :

If you wanted to make "witch bells" with me on Saturday, now is the time to get your tickets, I've already sold a good chunk of them! So get your tickets now if you are planning to attend.

Looks like this may be a full event and I don't know if I will have materials for walk ins this time.

For bells I have gotten a very large selection for you to work with: jingle bells (2 kinds), small brass bells, tin bells (various sizes and colors), small livestock bells and tons of ribbons/charms. I am also making resin runes/witch rules with holes in them for you to string if you wanted. If you have your on charms, tassels, ribbon or goodies, please bring them so you can add your own pieces to your works (no glass bottles please, they break on this kind of item).
