Congrats to the KINGS! As we boldly faced the freezing February winds of downtown Kansas City, I witnessed the sweetest most pure love between Tyler and Nora. These two are, hands down, in Love! What a beautiful wedding.

Just. Keep. Scrolling. 🤤🤤🤤 this wedding was a Blast! One thing that surprised me about shooting weddings was the connection I get to make with families. It’s so fun spending so much time getting to know the bride and groom throughout the planning phase but then on wedding day you get to basically see the BTS of the bride and groom. You see their closest friends and family and it all starts to make sense why they are the way are. Cheers to the families 🥂. Also, .joy and your weddding day was on point! ✨

When you book a wedding you get a free engagement session! I love these photo sessions! It’s a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to get a feel for what it’s like in front of my lens! Wedding planning tip: remember to pause. Stop. Breathe. Ask, why am I doing all this? Ask, am I enjoying this? 🤔 sometimes things get crazy as we get into the thick of planning (and thats ok!) but it’s so important to take a step back and remember the true core of ‘why’. Think about your fiancé, think about your story together. Think about all the people that played apart in your lives. Think about your best man and your maid of honor. Why did you choose them? What makes them special to you? …..pause. Enjoy they process. You’re wedding celebration doesn’t have to be anything other than what YOU TWO want. Don’t let friends, family, or vendors paint you into a corner with what “has” to happen. Now by all means they can help if you want lol, but remember this is YOUR wedding and no one else’s. ⏸

Wedding planning tip: make sure you vibe with the vendors you hire! You’re hiring these people to help you celebrate…YOU! Especially your photographer and videographer, these two vendors will be with you and around you pretty much all day on your wedding. Take time to find someone that aligns with your vision. Take advice from vendors but also make sure to communicate your ideal celebration.

I’m Gabe! I figured it would be nice to introduce myself here on the page and show my face, And maybe let y’all get to know more about me, who I am, and why I do what I do.
Like I said I’m Gabe, and I’m married to the most amazing woman on earth, Madison. Together we created the cutest, coolest, little dude in the world - Mack. Who just so happens to be turning 1 this month! Hbd kid 🎉
You’ll likely catch the fam and I watching movies, hitting up all the delicious Mexican restaurants (happy late cinco de Mayo) or traveling to a new rad place. Hopefully more this year than last. 😷
My wife and I are the faces behind Gabe Metz Film & Photo. We got into this business after our wedding in 2017 after realizing how precious the moments of our wedding day were to us and if we have the ability to capture those for someone else how special that would be. We love people and love weddings! We have been booking so many new people this year and next. Shoutout to all our new clients! You guys rock! We are so pumped for all the upcoming weddings and new friendships!
