阮江华，生于海南岛西部著名的昌江县。
现为中国美术家协会理事，国家一级美术师，海南省文联副主席，海南省美术家协会主席，
第七届海南省政协委员、海南省政协书画院副院长，青岛科技大美术学院、海师大美术学院等硕士研究生导师。先后被评为第二届海南省德艺双馨文艺工作者、海南省有突出贡献的优秀专家。

阮江华作为当代倾情于山水画创作、且卓有成就的画家之一，他探索山水画的继承，再给予创新的画意。

儿时趣事的记忆，和追求绘画艺术的烂漫生活与家乡的历史文化对他的浸染，让他用透明的心灵看到的透明的世界的感受来画画。

阮江华带着一个真艺术家应有的责任和担当，把全部身心都投入到美术事业当中。严谨的创作态度和治学精神，对于传统的尊重和对于自然的崇敬，使阮江华的艺术理想得到了求证，他的对于艺术的渴求，也得到了满足。对于每一画种，他都倾注了很多心血，山水、人物、花鸟无一落下。

阮江华有一个宏大的理想，这个宏大的理想源自于他为之自豪、引以为荣的、深爱着的故乡。他把对故乡的情怀，加注在树木和山石的刻画技法上，以“斧劈皴”为主，表现南方山石的浑厚圆润；染色法都是，层层跳染，但仍然以墨为主，间以亮色，效果是靓丽、飘逸、透明、清澈，很有海南岛的地域特色。

阮江华的表现手法是多样的，面对丰厚的植被，他用积染法层层渲染，不回避葱翠碧绿，不避让植物的雷同。在他的画中，我们看到了南齐谢赫《画品》中所谓六法：
一、气韵生动，
二、骨法用笔，
三、应物象形，
四、随类赋彩，
五、经营位置，
六、传移模写。

阮江华的眼睛看到的和他心中感悟的形态，进而幻化成明亮的、厚重的物象。高远透视、组线条的横向勾勒，不仅使山峰显得高峻，还增添了厚重的质感，庄严雄伟的大山的气势和内蕴就出来了。

在植物的刻画上，阮江华用色大胆：大紫、大红、大绿，甚至亮黄，他都敢于施用，具有强烈的视觉冲击力，又仿佛能够从他的画中能够听到激越的海岛强音。

扎实的传统功力，热土的赤子情怀，陈述着阮江华对于故土的虔诚。凭借他的勤奋与睿智，阮江华的山水画卷，集“壮美”与“秀美”于一身，他真切宣泄的情感，忘我的身心投入，全情的融入到作品中，已经达到了无我之境。

Ink and Rhyme”- an exhibition of Chinese Landscape Painting Exhibition by Ruan Jianhua, a national first-class artist from Hainan Province, will be showcased in Singapore, 3-9 February 2025.

The artist will be in Singapore during his exhibition which marks the 35th anniversary on diplomatic ties between Singapore and China. The exhibition will be opened by former Minister for National Development, Mah Bow Tan on Tuesday 4 February 2025 at 11.00am..

Ruan is currently a council member of the Chinese Artists Association; vice chairman of the Hainan Federation of Literary and Art; and Chairman of
the Hainan Artists Association.

约 100 位来自不同年代的摄影界人士出席了资深摄影家杨卓贤个人展《影影作乐》的开幕式。这是若轩艺术空间举办的其中一场盛大活动，为摄影爱好者提供了交流的机会。这也是新加坡影艺研究会成立 60 周年的庆祝活动之一。开幕主宾是东海岸集选区国会议员陈慧玲。

About 100 members of the photography community from different generations were at the opening of veteran photographer Yon Chok Yin’s solo exhibition “Joy of Imagining. It was a great event at The Art Space By Natalie Wong, providing an opportunity for photography enthusiasts to catch up with one another, including those from Malaysia. It is also one of the events celebrating Photo-Art Assn of Singapore’s 60 Anniversary. The guest of honour was Cheryl Chan, a Member of Parliament of East Coast GRC.

Veteran local photographer Yon Chok Yin will share his “Joy of Imagining” with a collection of 40 black-and-white images presented by The Art Space SG, with the support of Photo-Art Association of Singapore (PAS) which is celebrating its 60 Anniversary this year. The exhibition will feature Yon’s work spanning more than six decades, reproduced from photographic films and digitally.

A professional photographer since 1964, Yon has participated in numerous major photography exhibitions around the world. His works won him many accolades and awards, including the Associateship of The Royal Photographic Society of UK (ARPS).

He is an Honorary President and current vice president of PAS. His other appointments include: Cultural and Heritage Photography Advisor of Tan Si Chong Su (Ancestral Hall of the Tan Clan); Examiner of PAS and Federation of Asian Photographic Art distinctions.

During the exhibition, Yon Chok Yin will be sharing his experience in photography together with two other prominent local photographers: Tan How Jwat and Victor Chick respectively on Saturday, 10 January (2.00 pm to 5.00pm); and on Sunday, 12 January (4.30pm to 6pm). Admission is free.

新加坡著名资深摄影家杨卓贤，从事专业摄影六十余年，专长文史式的拍摄手法，作品曾受邀到世界各地主要摄影展展出。

这次的个展《影影作乐 - 杨卓贤黑白摄影展》将展出近40件黑白摄影作品，展现了杨卓贤不同时期的创作，涵盖了胶卷摄影作品及数码摄影作品。

这个展出取名“影影作乐”，因为摄影对于杨卓贤而言，是探索生命与生活的快乐之旅，每一次按下快门，每一帧照片的成形，都是他的一份乐趣。

《影影作乐 - 杨卓贤黑白摄影展》，一场见证了杨卓贤六十多年来摄影历程的文史摄影展。展出日期：2025年1月9日至14日（上午11点至下午6点）。

Heartiest Congratulations to Sandra Lim. Her project “Love Unlimited”, a collaboration with The Art Space SG, has been approved for Continuing Professionol Development (CPD) Accredilation by the International Centre For Professional Development (ICPD). ICPD is dedicated to supporting the cultural and creative industries, and The Art Space SG is an UNESCO-ICPD Accredited Program Provider.

Sandra explains that “Love Unlimited” was aimed at:
• Providing a fresh perspective on raising awareness about the natural environment and wildlife, highlighting the importance of conservation and protection for the well-being of the planet.
• Encouraging the observation of wildlife, while fostering an appreciation for the beauty of the natural world.
• Inspiring a deeper love and respect for animals through artistic expression.

The project, guided by The Art Space SG curator Wee Chin Hock, culminated in an exhibition of 31 artworks at The Art Space SG from 3rd to 15th August 2024, of which, 12 artworks were sold. Sandra generously donated the sales proceeds of S$20,000 to a charity supporting the poor and needy in the community.

昨晚，新加坡艺术空间（The Art Space SG）隆重揭幕了一场名为《我们不一样》的精彩展览。展出的40幅作品囊括了水彩、丙烯与油画，以独特的视角展现了艺术的多样性。此次展览集结了20位才华横溢的中国艺术家，他们的作品在现场熠熠生辉。

展览将持续开放至2025年1月4日（下周六），地点位于Hor Kew Business Centre，66 Kallang Pudding Road, #01-01, Singapore 349324。公众可免费入场，欢迎前来一同感受艺术的魅力！

WE ARE DIFFERENT - a collection of 40 paintings in water-colour, acrylic and oil - presented by The Art Space SG, was opened last evening. Ten of the Chinese artists whose works are represented in this show were in attendance to explain their works to the guests.

The exhibition is open to public until next Saturday, 4 Jan 2025 at Hor Kew Business Centre 01-01, 66 Kallang Pudding Road, Singapore 349324. Admission is free.

“Life’s A Stage” - a touring exhibition by David Tay will be shown at the Soka Gakkai’s Selangor Cultural Centre from 6-17 July. (11am to 5pm daily).
