We had the pleasure of spending last Monday evening with the wonderful writer, poet, and BBC radio presenter, Salma El-Wardany! ☺️ When discussing Salma’s debut novel, These Impossible Things, we talked about the importance of female friendship, the misrepresentation of Muslim women, as well as faith, sex, love, and loss. Salma declared that her novel is a love letter to female friendships.
