We had the Honor to capture L+W intimate church wedding last weekend! They will be having there bigger destination wedding in a few weeks and wanted to have these special moments captured with there family.
I felt like I was photographing someone of the royal family! They both looked absolutely stunning! The weather was also beautiful 😍.

I have had a lot of time with Grooms this season and I always wonder what is going through there mind as they are getting ready?
I like to to think that in those moments before he sees you for the first time there are a thousand thoughts racing through his mind.
Is he thinking about your first date together? When he knew that you were the one?
Is he reminiscing on those late night conversations, shared dreams you both have. Is he thinking about how absolutely stunning you are going to look today?
The excitement, the nerves.
Or is it just simply gratitude that you choose him and he choose you and that everything that you both have gone through (the good and the bad) have led to this very moment. The beginning of forever..
Or maybe he just wants to get all of it over with and just hurry up and be with you..
Either way they both sound absolutely beautiful 💛

Just a beautiful reminder that where you get ready is just as important as your venue.
A beautifully lit and clean getting ready space is essential for creating the light and bright aesthetic that we love so much!
When choosing a prep area, consider a room with plenty of natural light (big windows are a dream! ) White walls or neutral tones provide a clean canvas, allowing your photos to look airy and timeless.
Decluttering the space is key to keeping the focus on those intimate, emotional moments. It amplifies every detail, from the soft lace of a wedding dress to the sparkle in the bride’s ( and Groom’s) eyes.

I cannot believe we are in the final stretch of summer and making our way into fall this week. I have been in complete denial over the season changing. But since we are in the last weeks of summer I guess it’s time to embrace it and all that comes with it.
Fall is a very beautiful season especially if you live in New England. The foliage is absolutely breathtaking.
And of course we can’t forget that it’s fair season and all the apple crisp that comes with it.

We enjoyed walking around the Yale Campus in New Haven a few weeks ago with K+T for there engagement session. They were just a lovely and easy going couple!
Engagement sessions are super important to us because it gives us an opportunity to connect with the couple even more.
These two where pros by the end of the session so we know there wedding photos will be *Chefs Kiss*
We cannot wait to serve them next year for their beautiful wedding day!

Happy Thursday! This week is just flying in by! We have been so busy getting the kids ready for there first week of school and keeping a close eye on our pup that I haven’t had a moment to be present here on socials!
But we are back in the swing of things! Back to our weekly routines and ready to start this school year on a great note!

On this very important day, checking in with your bride-to-be throughout the day is essential and we can’t say enough how much it is appreciated.
We know that on the grooms side things are a lot more calmer. Take a moment remember to make sure your bride-to-be is doing alright.
Ask if she needs anything, and, most importantly, tell her how you cannot wait to see how beautiful she will look. If you prefer minimal interaction you can always write her a sweet love note and have one of your groomsmen deliver.
