Sometimes, you’re just not meant to eat those beautiful ribeyes. The grill gods were hungry and I was the chosen one to be the sacrifice. Take this as a reminder to always have a fire extinguisher nearby and check them often. Probably didn’t need to use it, but I wasn’t about to open that lid and find out. Also, when using a gas grill. Make sure the bottom is clear of grease and leaves/sticks etc.

PS on and (unrelated note 😆) The pizza from Buon Gusto Pizzeria & Grill is amazing!!

Today was a soup day. More specifically a chowder (chow-da) day. Potato corn and bacon topped with scallops, more bacon, eggs and chives. Tomorrow starts 30 days of keto. So we won’t bore you with salads….. or maybe we will.

Just an update going into the next year. We are taking the next two years off from the competition trail. With the new baby/house/other life events, we feel it's best to focus on our growing family. We still love our BBQ family and you will still see us out there! We will be judging events instead of competing. Any campground event please be sure to stop by and say hi! David III loves to give hugs! our first outting will be the BBQ Gives Back KCBS Contest in March. We love you all and wish you the best Thanksgiving!
