We have been asked a few times why we don’t bring Tarantulas? Well we actually can bring a tarantula… you just can’t interact with them. Here is why!
First reason is if something went wrong they are extremely fragile. Tarantulas have an exoskeleton which means their skeleton is on the outside of their body. Imagine your bones being on the outside. Now imagine falling from a height equivalent to a 1 to 3 story building. Wouldn’t be good.

Another reason is Tarantulas have these hairs called urticating hairs. They will flick these hairs off of them on to you and can cause hives, swelling, and lots of itching. When we use to interact with them we woulbe itchy for a week!

Finally it’s stress. Tarantulas really don’t like to be handled beyond popular belief. They stress extremely easily and high enough stress can cause them to pass away.

Now you can still request to see a tarantula! However it will be only a looking experience vs an interactive one. We also bring Tarantulas to our event tables at big events or to schools!

If you have used our services before can you please share your experience to local Facebook groups?! We have tried promoting both the ranch and our birthday parties but Facebook groups won’t allow us to do it ourselves. However many groups will allow you as our customers to post reviews! Please post pictures to Facebook groups of our business. We have lots of open dates we would love to fill!
