With Radical Reptiles we have our handlers bring our animals out to your birthday, classroom, or any other event you may want them at! We get asked frequently “Do you take in any reptiles?” The answer is yes we do. Over 60 percent of the reptiles on property are rescues.

Here is what we do with animals we take in.
1. We first see if they are are a good fit for our ranch and if we have the right necessities to display and house them appropriately long term.
2. We find homes for them. We do not charge people for the animals we take in. We try and find good homes and do extensive vetting work.
3. Some of the reptiles will go in to Charity Auctions to local reptile keepers. Many of these reptile keepers already have these reptiles an the money raised goes to charities like the Turtle and Tortoise Preservation Group.

Radical Reptile Fun makes no money on any animals we take in.

All animals we take in go through a 90 day quarantine period before they are even allowed to go out to the public. Sick animals are handled appropriately depending on the nature of illnesses however we do decline taking in animals because people can’t afford health care for their animal. We do not want to bring in knowingly sick animals in to an extremely healthy collection as many animal disease are extremely contagious. Also since we are not a nonprofit we are not able to afford vet care for other peoples animals. We do remind everyone to not get animals as pets if you have not factored in vet care as a potential cost for your animals. Most vet care at minimum for exotic animals is about $400.
