Psst! Bombesquad, we need your help! We’ve just started working on our fall/winter issue–Issue 20, can you believe?—and the theme is “Chefs & Restaurants.” We’re looking for female-owned and/or -fueled restaurants, cafes, or eateries in the U.S. that are doing things differently. Are they employee owned? Giving back to the community in a unique way? Breaking down the barriers between FOH & BOH? Rethinking the brigade system? Serving up a cuisine all their own? Whatever it is, we want to learn about them!

If you know about a pioneering place in your town, city, or state because you’re a customer, a fan, a team member, the owner’s mom, whatever, we’d love to hear from you. Tag the resto in the comments below or send us an email at [email protected] with the subject line “ISSUE 20: [LOCATION], [NAME OF RESTAURANT].” The deadline is Wednesday, August 10th, at 5 p.m. EST. Our goal is to find at least one place in each state & territory! If you’re one of our international friends, we’re happy to hear from you as well.
