Well that's it RIAT is over for another year, I think we can agree that this year has been a classic with so many gems for us enthusiasts.

It's been fantastic to see so many of your images on The Planet Avgeek Facebook Group, please keep posting them we are enjoying seeing them all.

Also we'd like to say a big thank you to all of you who took the time to visit our stand and say hello over the weekend, it's great to make so many connections. Our RIAT movements and checklist will be available soon on our website, so look out for that.

We also have some new event announcements coming soon, we'll keep you updated through this page and on our website so please keep an eye out for those as well.

We heard some news over the weekend, about a long time member of the hobby and a good friend of Threshold.Aero, Paul Bunch. Paul has been a customer at our nightshoots and has also contributed to our live RIAT movements logs in recent years as well as being a very good friend to one of our volunteers.

He wasn't able to attend RIAT this year as he's had some really serious medical issues recently. A group of his friends have started a Just Giving page to help him get the help he needs. Paul really is one of the good guys and is always willing to help others so it's a mark of the man that so many have contributed to help his recovery already.

We are happy to share his page, and sincerely hope to see Paul back at RIAT next year.

Sometimes it pays off to take a chance when the weather can't make it's mind up.

Heathrow saw a varied line up of aircraft this afternoon ranging from the little to the large.

Seeing the Queen of the skies back at Heathrow full of passengers was a welcome sight.
