🎉 Flashback to 2018: Lessons from Our First Awards Night! 🎉

Back in 2018, we attended our very first County Brides North West Wedding Awards. 🏆 We didn’t win that night, but what we gained was far more valuable, lessons that helped us grow into who we are today. 💡

Here are the top things we learned from that unforgettable evening:

1️⃣ Stay humble—confidence is great, but overconfidence is not.
2️⃣ Build friendships in the industry, not rivalries.
3️⃣ Hard work truly does lead to success.
4️⃣ Listen to those with more experience—they’ve been where you want to go!
5️⃣ Customer communication is EVERYTHING in this (and any!) industry.
6️⃣ Network with suppliers and embrace new promotional ideas.
7️⃣ Appreciate your competition—they push you to be better.
8️⃣ Don’t skip the meal—you’ll need the energy! 😂
9️⃣ Darren learned the hard way: ALWAYS get a haircut before an event! 📸

Our recent visit to Worsley Court House in Manchester had us thinking .. were we guilty or not guilty ??

OF BRINGING THE PARTY and the many laughs 😂🥳 to Rob and Tina’s wedding ??

By the look on everyone’s face on the these pictures taken by us, we think we did 😂

We created a great atmosphere during the wedding meal and this crossed over into the evening reception where we performed another floor filling set of songs 💃🕺🏻
