One thing I’ve learned? When the wedding party is actually having fun, the whole day just flows.

Your crew aren’t there to be event staff, they’re there to celebrate with you. So my advice would be to give them the FUN jobs: Snack enforcer, drink re-filler, dance floor starter, speech announcer.

BECAUSE… When they’re relaxed, you’re relaxed.
When they’re having fun, you’re having fun.
That ENERGY is contagious

Lauren and David told me they wanted a ceremony that was heartfelt, meaningful and relaxed.

So including their guests in the ceremony was the perfect way to do that AND I also advised them we could sign the marriage certificate AFTER the ceremony … that way, the ceremony just flowed along nicely and none of their guests were sitting out in the sun for any longer then they needed to.

I have only a few ceremony planning sessions left in February so get in quick to book yours!

It’s hard to explain just how special it feels to stand with a couple on their biggest day, but this wedding had everything.

Still catching my breath and trying to wrap my head around this!

Thinking back to the early days when I was driving 8 hours inland to Mungindi or down to Ourimbah just to get a booking [often for family because no one else knew who I was] to now placing 3rd in Celebrants and 2nd in the MC category for Byron Bay and the Tweed Coast… what a wild ride!

Grateful doesn’t even come close. 😭

I feel so damn lucky to call this my job, to do it full time, and to work alongside some of the most talented legends in the biz. To the vendors out there hustling and creating magic for couples every single weekend—none of this happens without you.
Your dedication and creativity inspire me daily, and I’ve got so much love and respect for it all.

In February, I took a leap from my comfy 9-5, trusted the process, and decided to go all in with this lil love biz and well here we are. 🙏
