Weddings will humble even the toughest cookies.

One minute, they’re all “nah, I’m sweet, no tears here” and the next? Blinking rapidly, deep breathing, maybe a tiny sniffle. The moment before their partner walks down the aisle gets everyone….every single time.🥰

And honestly? It’s one of my favourite parts. ❤️

One thing I’ve learned? When the wedding party is actually having fun, the whole day just flows.

Your crew aren’t there to be event staff, they’re there to celebrate with you. So my advice would be to give them the FUN jobs: Snack enforcer, drink re-filler, dance floor starter, speech announcer.

BECAUSE… When they’re relaxed, you’re relaxed.
When they’re having fun, you’re having fun.
That ENERGY is contagious

Lauren and David told me they wanted a ceremony that was heartfelt, meaningful and relaxed.

So including their guests in the ceremony was the perfect way to do that AND I also advised them we could sign the marriage certificate AFTER the ceremony … that way, the ceremony just flowed along nicely and none of their guests were sitting out in the sun for any longer then they needed to.

I have only a few ceremony planning sessions left in February so get in quick to book yours!

It’s hard to explain just how special it feels to stand with a couple on their biggest day, but this wedding had everything.

Big love, belly laughs, and those “pinch me” moments where you stop and think, yep… this is what it’s all about.
