If you dread Thanksgiving because of all the work involved and think you have to get up at the crack of dawn that morning to cook, you're doing it wrong. There are things you can be doing NOW to make your holiday easier. For example, many casseroles (like the ubiquitous green bean casserole), pie crusts, and many desserts can be prepared this week and then frozen so it's ready and waiting for you!

Holiday Entertaining Tip #1: Clean out your refrigerator NOW. Tossing old condiments and unused items now leaves you less harried the week before Thanksgiving and gives you more space for when your great aunt shows up with her weird hot dog Jello dish that she saw online.
