Real Talk from a Small Business Owner

Social media is a highlight reel — and while we love sharing the fun, the wins, and the beautiful moments, the reality behind the scenes can look very different.

The truth is, not every event is a success. Sometimes it’s because markets become oversaturated with too many of the same type of vendor, leaving little room for anyone to thrive. Other times, unpermitted vendors show up, putting the entire event and its reputation at risk. And yes — sometimes, it’s because original ideas get copied, and that’s a hard pill to swallow when you’ve poured your heart, time, and creativity into something unique.

We’re all out here trying to grow, learn, and make a living doing what we love — but let’s not forget to respect the craft, the process, and each other.

Thank you to those who continue to support small businesses with integrity. It truly means more than you know. 💕🥤

Heads up‼️ Due to a scheduling conflict at our original location—where another drink vendor is scheduled—we’re relocating tonight’s event to a different spot to avoid any conflict of interest. We fully support fellow small businesses, but we also want to respect everyone’s space and offerings.

Today (6/4) is the day for our first 2025 Bargersville Indiana Farmers Market! We cannot wait to see you all on Main Street.

We have three more brand-new vendors to welcome to the BMS Farmers Market family. Give them a warm welcome! 👏

✨ Vendor Spotlight #2: Izzy's AF Bar (non-alcoholic dirty sodas, handcrafted beverages, mocktails, teas, flavored lemonades)
✨ Vendor Spotlight #3: Take Flight Farmstead (first generation farm selling pasture raised chicken, eggs, Thanksgiving turkeys, and non-GMO grain finished Belted Galloway beef)

And don't forget - Girl Scout Troop 608 will be collecting donations for the Johnson County Animal Shelter. Items requested:
