Let’s say it’s been a while that we had this idea in mind. Since we love our sport, we all surf the web time to time (when there’s no wind…) for news, about products and new moves…. We wanted to have a simple and cool looking place to put together all the links we’ve compiled through out those years. And most important of all, to give back to the windsurfing community. hen I began, it was in dark a time of my life. I was searching myself, just arrived in a new city with almost no friends and no social life. I was kind of depressed and not in very good shape (about 60 lbs more than today). Just out of school where I did not practice lots of sports. Then I found a local windsurfing spot, just about 15 minute car ride from home and took an instruction course. It was on a Starboard Start and Go boards. When I was younger, I’ve already done some windsurfing (first Bic board I guess) so I did know some basics. Remembered also my father has and old Mistral Malibu in the garage doing nothing…….. So, fell in love with the sport, it became my passion! Got my first planning and got hooked! Then, all my vacations was suddenly based on places to visit windsurfing spots around the world… Had the chance to go to Maui where I’ve done my first gybes there. Went also my places in Europe and in the Caribbeans. Along those 11 years, I have learned so much and met wonderful people. Now I see lots of new and younger beginners and they’re asking me lot of questions… I imaging I was like that also when I begun. So, I don’t hesitate to give them advice and encourage them to persevere into that sport. I feel something like in the movie “Pay it forward“, you know the concept : if everyone would at least give help to 3 other people without waiting back anything in return, then this would make the world a better place.
