In 2023, Adelaide Fringe announced the brand new Sarah Rohrsheim Adelaide Fringe Fellowship Award. Celebrating Fringe on a global scale, this award is given to an artist to assist in the cost of presenting their work in territories of their choice over the following year.

Sarah Rohrsheim is a member of the Adelaide Fringe Foundation Board and our Donor Circle, and has generously given $25,000 per year over three years to this award category - on behalf of the artists, we are incredibly grateful.

Edinburgh Fringe is over and it was an amazing time. One of the loveliest things was to get to hang out with Mario the Maker Magician. We have so many strange points of overlap it is like meeting a mirror image from another dimension. Watching his show performed for a huge audience of families and kids was a favorite fringe moment. Losing at chess to his son another. He is a passionate maker and robot magician extraordinarie. I can’t wait for the next time we meet. Photo by Katie
