Set against the looming facade of Samode Palace, the four corners of Aliona & Alan's open-to-the-skies mandap, were adorned with 'Shikhars'. An important part of temple architecture, 'Shikar' were used to mark the highest point of the temple to attract the blessings of the gods from the heavens above. What better way to bless this celebration of love?

Wedding celebrations mean different things for different people. For Alan & Aliona, who got married after being together for 16 years, it was an intimate, laughter filled, vibrant affair where their family and friends could relax and let their hair down. Their two day, five event wedding celebrations were a careful curation of Alan's colorful memories of his Indian roots and his aunt Pravina's meticulous eye for details. A one-of-a kind wedding which was every bit as unique as their love story.

Set against the looming facade of Samode Palace, the four corners of Aliona & Alan's open-to-the-skies mandap, were adorned with 'Shikhars'. What better way to bless this celebration of love? Seen here is the magical moment just after the vows. Isn't their joy infectious?

The candle-lit, glittering, Sheesh Mahal at the Samode Palace provided a subliminal backdrop to Aliona & Alan's reception dinner. Opulent, oversized floral arrangements, met with handspun chanderi linen, elaborate swan napery met with soft pink and gold tones and calligraphed namecards met with fine silverware. Together, they created a befitting ambience for a celebration of love - elegant, exravagant and ethereal.

For this statement mandap, we used materials that were in contrast to the traditional granduer of Jai Mahal Palace. Towering at over 18 feet, mirror clad pillars were in-framed with acrylic arches reminiscent of the Pink City. A giant rainfall chandelier of delicate tuberoses hung over the vedi. Luxurious, carefully selected floral arrangements graced tables and nooks. And the evening was lit up to glitter like the night sky. ✨

Ananya & Abhimanyu's Haldi & Tel Baan was all about laughter, gaity, family and a whole load of blessings from aunts, uncles & cousins! We gathered all that love and strung it up in brass bells for good vibes, mauli for good luck and neebu mirchi to keep away the evil eye. We then filled up peetal 'kalash'-es with rajnigandhas and brass thaals with genda phool. 'Shikhara'-s, emblematic of temple architecture, were incorporated across the venue to mark auspicious beginnings. The bride & groom even had their own life size urlis to be Tel Baan-ed in! And the icing in the cake? The gota embellished baskets filled with flower petals for the surprise "Phoolon Ki Holi". What a fun filled afternoon! 🏵️ man.ka.milan
