we’re already 2 WEEKS into the new year — which is wild! like last january, we’re taking a moment to drop some thoughts on trend predictions. 🫡 oh’kay, here goes: minimalism (as an overall theme), monochromatic linens, vintage fashion trends: dainty floral, long fringe, platform shoes, sequins galore; and a luxury-level focus on guest expenditures + price per head.

hoping your NEW YEAR is off to a good start! ours sure is… and, we’re looking forward to all of the exciting things coming y(our) way, like expanding our branding and marketing, while introducing some new team members to the world. maybe a little bit of travel… and, probably a lot of play! ✈️
we’ll “chalk it up” to lady(bug) luck because rumor has it — ladybugs bring good fortune. old wive’s tales and spiritual interpretations tell that a ladybug sighting foreshadows good luck, love, and rebirth… perfect for a brand NEW YEAR ✨

as the new year BEGINS again, we’re inundated on social with concepts, ideas, and guesstimated industry trends that may ( or may not ) create fad-like followings for the next twelve to eighteen months. i mean, is *really* onto something with this “ mocha mousse “ color 🤓
but, one thing that will NEVER, EVER be an outdated concept or a worn-thin idea is mood lighting. from bar tops to dining table lamps and controlled chandeliers to clusters of candles — dim lighting truly sets the tone for an intimate environment, while accenting highlights in design.

just like that, the last month of this year is coming to a screeching halt — as we skid across the “finish line” into ALL the holiday celebrations! we’re startin’ to get the itch to pull out our dancing shoes and boogie our way into twenty-twenty-five. 🕺🏻💃🏻 hope you are, too!

quick recap of 2024 🌿
totally * WILD * that we’re officially in Holiday mode! 🎁 it feels just like yesterday that we were kickin’ off our first intimate wedding of the year at with and for the sweetest couple. since then, we’ve designed *almost* thirty celebrations for twenty-six couples and assisted with multiple non-profit events.
in our spare time… somehow… our team traveled the globe, domestically and internationally, learning about our individual personalities and fine-tuning our professional skills. we lost a team member to life’s ever-changing journey, but we gained valuable lessons in stride. and — LBH — 2025 will be even better for our team! lots comin’ at ya’ in the new year. 🥂

just dropping a lil’ sneak peek as we move into another wedding weekend with some of our favorite friendors! impatiently awaiting a similar view to this one for four nights this week at our team’s 😏 jealous?! it’s okay — you should be.
the sunsets on kiawah are phenomenal, especially at mingo point — one of our favorite lowcountry venues! beautiful scenery, built-in rain plan and covered spaces, waterfront views, plenty of parking, in-house food & bev… what’s not to love?! excited to share more of + Billie’s special wedding day soon!

Our Story

Invitation Only is a boutique wedding planning firm based in Summerville, South Carolina, and conveniently located near Charleston. We have been creating stylish and memorable weddings since 2013, specializing in both full-service and partial-service wedding planning. We provide month-of coordination for those who wish to plan their own wedding, but need some guidance in the month prior. In 2018, we reinstated our day-of coordination package for select Lowcountry venues! Although our specialty surrounds wedding-related services, we are also experienced in corporate event management and private parties. Utilizing our network of talented Lowcountry vendors, Invitation Only can bring together the specific, unique details of your event to ensure that everyone has an unforgettable experience!
