Well, here I am planting bulbs after the ground has frozen! The hard work of breaking the ground will be worth it in the Spring when these tulips and daffodils bloom.

Planting Day

🌿 SPRING 🌿

Spring is finally here even though the weather remains a little testy. Spring flowers are not my absolute favorite blooms, but each year I’m growing more fond of them because they are the first signs of warmer weather.

Just a few weeks before I begin my first round of seed starting! So looking forward to putting my hands in the dirt again.

I don’t expect to see my tulips or daffodils come up until May so seed starting will have to suffice for now. So much of gardening is waiting and anticipation!

But I saw a robin in the yard this morning! Little hints of Spring reminding me I need to break out the paper and pencil and figure out my seed starting dates 💃🏼

Lots to do in that in between time between Spring and Summer blooms…weeding, watering, feeding, and for some plants - pinching! Heres a short clip of me pinching a small zinnia plant.
