So when testing out new locations, it's not not best idea to stock items to the top without knowing how they will do.

Well, I stocked a full case of diet coke 2 months ago and NOT 1 DIET COKE SOLD😲! So today I had to remove and replace with a different drink.

I'll relocate to another machine at another location and hope I can move these diet cokes...and if not, I'll be one the corner saying diet cokes for sale🤣

This drink machine was cleared out in 7 days. That's the good news.

The not so good news, I had to load these myself in the heat! (Nailah is somewhere in Michigan living her best life😒)

It took me 16 minutes to get these drinks in the machine.

Total time 2.5 hours this morning to shop and load 1 machine and top off another at another location.

Vending Restock Day

Many people ask "Is Vending Profitable?" The answer is It can be if you manage them correctly.

Today we purchased a box of M&Ms to re-fill.
The price per unit is $0.69
We sell each unit for $1.50

That's approximately $.81 profit x 48 = $38.88

If you restock those 48 units every sixty days you will make $233.28 for 6 months.

If you multiply that by 4 machines that's $933.12 for ONE product.

On average there are 30 products in a snack machine...you do the math. However, profits depend on several other factors.

We love summer and the apartments - we are restocking chips on average every 5-7 days

Two apartment complexes - one is doing really well...the other is a little slow. We will give it through the fall since we did get that one in May toward end of semester.

Often times people ask how much to start a new machine. Well, today Nailah loaded 2 machines at her new 4th location and it cost us $134.

We spent about 4 hours total shopping, and loading the machine (included travel).

Follow our journey as we master this vending business before she's off to her next business venture.

100TimesFun will be taking the first place prize tomorrow.
